Allan Weinrib
Geddy Lee’s brother, Allan at one time ran The Revolver Film Company, a Toronto- based production company for music videos. Past customers include David Bowie, Marilyn Manson and The Cranberries. In 1985 Allan produced the ‘Big Money’ video, directed by Robert Quartly. He produced a number of other Rush videos, particularly in the eras of ‘Counterparts’ (‘Stick it Out’ and ‘Nobody’s Hero’) and ‘Test For Echo’ (‘Half The World’ and ‘Driven’). He was also co-producer on the 2003 DVD ‘Rush in Rio’, notably making the decision not to do anamorphic encoding of the DVD, due to the poor image quality of Neil’s drumming.
