Joe Anthony

Joe Anthony was a DJ on KISS-FM in San Antonio. He was called “The Godfather” due to his willingness to promote new rock bands, and was a staunch supporter of Rik Emmett’s band, Triumph. He did his bit for Rush, and was rewarded with a thank you on ‘All The World’s A Stage’; station manager Lou Roney also got a mention.

Joe died of lung cancer on 12 September 1992, at the age of 52.
