Bill Collins was “One of the original riggers in the business,” says his son Brian. His job was to design and configure the lighting trusses, “the rigger’s in charge of everything above peoples heads, all 45 thousand pounds of it.” Known for his lack of fear, Bill worked with Rush from the ‘Permanent Waves’ tour through to ‘Test for Echo’.
