Jon Erickson
Sound engineer Jon Erickson worked with the band on the ‘Signals’ and ‘Power Windows’ tours before moving back into the studio. He co-produced the ‘Big Money EP’ single in 1988, then at Elora Sound, he was pre-production engineer for ‘Grace Under Pressure’ and ‘Hold Your Fire’. He did go back on the road for this, latter tour, before being replaced by Robert Scovill.
As well as working with Rush he worked on two albums for Pat Travers, ‘Whiskey Blues’ and ‘Born Under a Bad Sign’. He also produced Bart Davenport’s second album. Later, Jon engineered the ‘Pieces of Eight’ drum piece for Neil.
